After School Program

Our Story.

A group of talented and well experienced facilitators (trainers, coaches, counsellors) who have been in the education industry for the past two (2) decades with excellent reviews of their work from learners, parents and other stakeholders in the education industry.

Our facilitators (trainers, coaches, counsellors) have developed a wide range of teaching strategies and practices that helps our learners to develop their own learning strategies using the various digital resources available at our learning centre.

ITS ASP inculcates values such as integrity, ingenuity and excellence in our learners. Our facilitators ensure that learners are always confident in themselves and their abilities. Our learners are always encouraged to be ready to offer their possible best effort to any given task or engagement.

What We Do.

We welcome our learners to our learning centre at 4:00pm for a 2 hour session after school. The first hour is dedicated to the homework our learners bring from their various schools. The next hour is dedicated to giving enrichment exercises based on the homework our learners bring to our learning centre.

Homework Help

Homework help is specific to that particular assignment and the chapter, unit, course, and subject to which it belongs. Our facilitators provide the exact guidance needed to complete the homework. They also try to ensure that each of our learners finishes the session with the understanding to complete the same, or a similar, piece of homework on their own.

Academic Enrichment

Our tutoring programs help learners who need the additional challenge in the classroom to stay focused and remain engaged in learning. Our academic enrichment is offered within a small group setting and is available in a variety of subjects, such as math, science, and language.

STEM Focused

STEM is an approach to learning and development that integrates the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Through STEM, learners develop key skills including: problem solving, creativity, critical analysis, teamwork, independent thinking, initiative, communication, digital literacy.

The Three Rs (3Rs)

Education has always gone beyond the basics of “reading, writing, and arithmetic.” However, the “Three Rs” are tools with which a student can gain more knowledge in any subject. If a student can read and write, he (she) can complete a research project and learn to type. If a student understands the basics of arithmetic, he (she) can learn to program complex algorithms or study science.

Field Trips

Our field trips offer our learners the opportunity to try new things, have different experiences, and learn valuable life lessons. We have been to a number of locations where learners saw new sights and had hands-on opportunities in a wide variety of experiences. Our field trips are to places that support the current curriculum (GES).

Physical & Health Activities

Regular physical activity can help children and adolescents improve cardiorespiratory fitness, build strong bones and muscles, control weight, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and reduce the risk of developing health conditions such as heart disease, cancer, obesity, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and osteoporosis.
